| It has been my honor and
privilege to serve the citizens of Lincoln and Union
Parishes as their District Attorney since January 1, 1991.
It is the goal of this office to ensure that justice is
served through the enforcement of the criminal laws of the
State of Louisiana; to champion the rights of victims of
crimes committed in Lincoln and Union Parishes; to protect
those juveniles of our District who have suffered abuse
and/or neglect; to ensure that the best interest of our
children are served through the enforcement of our state's
child support laws; and to develop, implement, and provide
pro-active programs to keep our local communities safe and
secure. To that end, this office has successfully
prosecuted thousands of felony and misdemeanor cases,
collected millions of dollars in child support payments,
recovered hundreds of thousands of dollars of worthless
checks issued to our local merchants, and designed and
implemented numerous programs benefiting the citizens of the
Third Judicial District.
